have one of these on our truck. Not only is it amusing, but when you happen to cross with an inconsiderate driver it tends to make them get the hell outta the way. not sure if it'd work the same intimidation wise on a brz as a jacked up ram but you still get the amusement factor.

I've seen a few videos of people startling pedestrians with train horns. The shit people will do for attention. Makes you hope they do it to the wrong group and get stomped.

Well at least I'm already coming from a car with a whimpy. As someone from my old car forum put it, the first time they had to hit their horn after someone cut them off, they were flaccid for a week.

GBS looks great in that video. Sometimes I wonder if I didn't make the best decision with SSM.

Exhaust sounded pretty decent when he pulled onto the grass.

Although the horn sounds wimpy, I can't remember what my current cars horn sounds like or the last time I used it... still don't like the BRZs horn though.

The train horn vid reminds me of when a friend of mine changed lanes in front of a 323 (didn't see him). The guy hit his horn which sounded like a semi-truck, which made my friend jump back into the lane he came from.

Hella Supertones are perfect upgrades. It's not a weird request as described in the OP's video. All WRX owners hate how their horns sound and many of them replaced it.

Anything louder is just ridiculous.

I got pulled over once by a cop because a person could see my hellahorns through my front grill and he thought it was speakers. And when I told them they were horns and pushed my horn he jumped, lolz. I said to myself kinda jumpy for a cop, eh? Must be a rookie or desk jockey.

Supertones are loud. Don't even sound good, just loud. I'd also probably respray the grilles black for stealth purposes; I don't like how the entire Impreza community has them on display in the front grille.

Yeah a couple things I wished I had done was try the stereo out, had the guy rev for exhaust sound (btw it sounded even better in person), interior not recorded upside down, steal it.

It reminds me of a taxi horn...

Because the horn isn't reachable by my thumbs, I will probably almost never use it. When you are in an emergency situation, you can either leave both your hands on the wheel and steer or take one hand off and honk. I usually opt for the steering.
