Ah if decisions in life were only that easy... Fortunately, I don't have a problem with wearing suits, but even if I did, there are too many variables involved in the equation to just find a different job, assuming I'd want to change it in the first place.

I ordered 1 of these this morning Amazon.com: Coat Caddy: Home & Kitchen

Neat idea, but given the angle of our seats and the space behind them, I think your jacket would still end up getting bunched up on the rear seat. Let us know how it works out!

The only real solution is to devise a proper automatic suit and scuba gear holder in the trunk. Works for bond and special agent Michael Corben.

Yeah, NY has that whole image issue, but I do respect anyone that's willing to run that rat race, course looking badass in a nice suite to chicks does have it's advantages...

Yeah but no suit = no car

well, i could afford the car, but little else haha.

I tried putting the passenger seat forward and hanging them off the back with the headrest poles, but i am 6'5", so they are pretty long shirts.. they didnt sit well haha.

I plan on coming up with a solution for this problem, seems as if i am not the only one.
Next time i see my car audio guy, might see if he can fiberglass me up something.
I know the car is not really the most functional thing around, but its my daily so i need to make do haha.

I think the seats down lay flat seems to be the best method to me.

No coat hooks? What a silly little oversight!

Unfortunately for me, no suit = no car, also. There's no way I'm getting in a low-slung sports car wearing a suit jacket - that thing's going in the back somewhere. C'mon, even my 1987 $#!tbox Toyota has one!

Sort of related: yesterday when my lady friend and I test drove a BRZ, one of the first things she commented on was the lack of "oh shit" handles. So I'll be installing an aftermarket one of those in the passenger side, which I guess will double as a clothes hanger when the need arises.

Anyone looked into that option?

Now I am thinking about it, I have not pick up my dry clean since owning the BRZ, I think I will keep asking my wife to do that, problem solved.

So yesterday i took off as i had an engagement party and was staying in a motel close by.
went to pack the car, my little suit case doesn't fit anywhere in the back securely cause of the tire hump..
Only place i had to put the suit was laying flat in the trunk and with the suitcase not secure, i couldn't leave that in there as it would have slid around over the suit.
So it had to go in the front passenger foot well, the presents on the back seat and suit in the back.
for very little luggage, i used up a lot of space haha.

Maybe i can get one of them pushbike racks for the back and hang the suit off that?

Superbump to see if anyone got a solution? My problem is I umpire baseball, so my trunk is full of gear and I am carry 5 shirts plus 2 pairs of pants, so laying them down doesnt really solve anything even if I could.
