Wow, this ought to be fun.


1949 Chevy 4 door. First car. Bone stock 6 banger w/3 on the tree, and I remember feeling it pogo when I slid it around in the dirt in north Phoenix. My Dad bought me this because he was tired of me pushing his new 1964 GTO down the street at 4AM to light up the US Royal Redline Tiger Paws. I was 14.


1932 Ford 3 window coupe with a SBC and a 39 Ford gearbox. I had to hold it in second. Blew the tranny and went to a junkyard and found parts to fix. Wicked fast in a straight line, but twitchy with the short wheelbase.


1955 Chevy Bel-Air 2 door hardtop. I traded the deuce coupe straight across for this and drove it until I went into the US Army. 265 V8 and a three speed on the floor. Pretty boring, but I didn't have to work on it as much.


1960 Austin Healey bug-eyed Sprite. 948cc motor. Big go kart, I taught my Mom to shift in this one. Slow, but still fun.


Two 1960-ish Austin Mini-Coopers. One had been rolled in a race, and I transplanted parts from it to the other one. Amazing handling.


1963 Corvette split window coupe. 327 w/4speed. I bought this for $2K from a dealer in Scottsdale, AZ in 1969. Yeah, I know, I should have kept it.


1969 Corvette 427/4 speed. Another one I should have kept. I sold it because of the gas crunch in 1973.


1972 Impala. Family time.


1981 Chevy Citation X-11. 60 degree 2.8 w/4speed. Surprisingly quick in the corners for a FWD. The car fell apart around the motor. Rare to see one now.


1967 Mercury Capri II. 2.8 V6 and a 4 speed. A German Ford. I loved this car. Had poly bushings and better sway bars installed and I could throw it around without it getting strange. Nice balance. No power. It was parked and got T-boned by a drunk driver while I was working. Insurance company totaled it. Try and find one of these.


1970 Dodge Challenger. 318/auto. Pretty car. It sold the first day I advertised it.


1971 Camaro RS. auto w/350. Heavy but full of promise.


1974 Camaro. auto w/350. I had this one apart twice trying to make it faster. Complete Rancho suspension no longer marketed. Still pretty heavy.


2000 Acura Integra. Unbelievable reliability. I beat this car as a daily driver and could not hurt it.


2007 Lexus IS 350. Nice. Too much computer. I took this to the local drag-strip. Ran brackets. It was fun, but wouldn't even chirp the tires.


2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab Short Bed Sport. This thing was pretty nice. It went to San Diego to visit my son and never came back. He likes it.


2011 Hyundai Sonata. Uh-huh. I gave this one to my Mom-in-law. She loves it.


2013 Scion FR-S. White/auto. I bought this for the wife, but she said it was too hard to get in and out of. Standard dislikes you are all familiar with regarding horsepressure.


2013 VW GTI. This one was pretty cool. I had it re-flashed and upgraded the suspension and brakes. Fun to drive.


2014 Scion FR-S w/6 speed. This one was for me, but I drove Godzilla more.


2014 Nissan GTR. Think fast! Very interesting car. Again, lots of computer. Ask GTO5005. He drove it. Sold it because I believe I can have just as much fun for less money. I'm looking.


2014 Acura MDX. Nice to travel in. Still have it.


2015 Ram 3500 Mega Cab 4X4 Longhorn Laramie w/Cummins diesel. I still have this one too. It will pull or haul just about anything, and I will use it to go and find something interesting to drive. 800 lb. feet of torque at 1600 RPM.


I'm sure I left out a few, but I'm old and can't remember stuff. I also left out the motorcycles. Lots of those too. Dirt bikes, Superbikes; the wife says I'm too old for these anymore.
