Slow and steady wins the race as they say. It is on my list of things to do, I currently have no camber adjustable parts installed, so I can't do too much about it at this moment. I'm going to replace bushings and whatnot that will be legal for my autocross class, then tackle camber. Suspension is my priority currently. My limiting factor is my wallet, so I'm going to be focusing on biggest impact first. I also want to do things separately so I can better understand each parts' impact.

So I totally just realized that I never swapped the rear side marker bulbs to LED, just placed an order from @Diode Dynamics to take care of that little oversight.

This is video I captured during autocross yesterday, this is my third ever autocross event and I came in 21 out of 45 in novice. My new suspension with lack of camber adjustability contributed to increasing the learning handicap, I went from a pretty decent amount of oversteer (full stock suspension) to serious understeer (shock and springs as only aftermarket modified parts of suspension). I will be doing front top hats and rear LCAs ASAP to counteract that so I can continue to develop as an autocross driver.

Measured my fenders again today and it looks like my springs have settled an additional half cm. Front OEM measurement from fender to center hub cap was 36cm and rear was 36.5cm, now that the springs have settled they measure at all four wheels 34.5cm, converted to imperial is 0.6" drop in the front and 0.8" drop in the rear.

I have a question/request for those following my build thread. After I get my front camber sorted out and get the drivetrain more tightly secured, my next purchase will likely be tires (but not for a while as I need to let funds replenish themselves a little bit).

I am torn between Dunlop Direzza ZIIs (on closeout from Tirerack) and the Michelin Pilot Super Sports (on sale currently) and both are in the same ball park in terms of price for 225/45r17 (~600 for a set of 4). What I want to know is y'alls opinion of each and given those two choices, which would you put on your BRZ/FR-S/GT86?

Installed the OEM crash bolts today. I haven't taken a picture of the visible camber angle, but you can tell it has negative camber just by looking at it. Tomorrow morning I'll be taking C'thulhu to get an alignment and will confirm the camber angles. I took a picture of the 16mm bolt next to the 14mm bolt it was replaced by, looks like plenty of room for camber adjustment there.

Alignment results are in, -1.2* on both front wheels. That exceeded all my expectations as my stretch goal was -1.0* and my expectation was between -0.5* and -0.8*. On the street the car is perfectly balanced with the car holding a line on a corner at easily 10-15mph faster than with the oem suspension and alignment. This was using the OEM crash bolts. June 8th is my next autocross event and I will give my feedback on my current setup afterwards.

Also, last weekend I redipped the front wheels and this weekend I will be redipping the rear wheels, this time I will use more coats so that A) it lasts longer, B) is easier to remove (it is so thin that I can't peel it off, I had to use goo gone which was a ginormous mess), and C) just looks better longer.

Swapped out the oil in my transmission on Wednesday. As expected, shifting is a lot smoother and it is now a lot more obvious when I am in gear.
