Than she stopped eating again.. This time I was certain it was because she could taste the pills in her food so I've been making her swallow them on their own. She has food allergies and part of her nose got a little swollen... So maybe this is why she's not eating too.. She's had this happen in the past.
I was trying a different kind of wet food.. I feel so guilty like I made her worse.. She's gotten so skinny over these past few months.. No matter how many times I feed her and she eats she doesn't gain any weight... She doesn't have any worms or anything like that..
She's been my best friend since I was 8.. I didn't have many friends when I was younger.. I was teased a lot.. Even in hs I only had 1 friend and he would ditch me a lot... She always knew when I was upset or was crying.. She would come over to me to lick my tears away (lol It was funny) and she would always greet me when I got home.. Even now when she can barely stand she still managed to get up to greet me.
I guess what I wasn't sure about was weather I should put her down or not.
I don't want her to die alone... But I'm afraid if I bring her too the vet she'll be scared and instead she'll die afraid.... And than I'll feel like I murdered her..
She's not in pain... When I hold her she purrs and tilts her head back so I can rub under her chin(that's her favorite spot) she's so weak... I don't know I don't know what to do... She doesn't deserve to die alone wondering where I am
this is hella sad.

I know, I'm sorry guys. I just needed to vent and didn't have anywhere else to... I've decided late afternoon tomorrow I'll bring her to the vet to be put down. My bf will go with me and afterwards I'll stay at his place.
She can barely stand.. She doesn't give me kisses or head bumps... And she won't eat or drink (she did a little yesterday and ever so slightly this morning)
If she doesn't eat tomorrow I'll know for sure I'm doing the right thing.. I can't let her starve to death.. There's no quality in living this way.. I just hope she isn't afraid and that they let me hold her.
Fuck I hate crying in front of people... I'm gonna sob... I know it

The thing that pissed me off the most was how close he was to me. Couldn't see his headlights. Now that's just asking for an accident.

I figured he was waiting for me to do something stupid and hit me with that but I didn't give him anything (besides the plates thing) so he got me for something that 50% of new cars/new car owners don't abide by. Such a bullshit offence.

Isn't there an one mile rule on your state? Also I don't remember cop being allow to pull you over for no front plate. Isn't bit a bit impossible to pull you over if he was behind you?

He was sitting on the shoulder and I put my blinker on and moved over a lane to give him room. Came up right behind me once I passed him.

Still doesn't give him right to pull you over. I would double check w your state's traffic law. He might be correct for giving you a ticket for not having a front plate, but doesn't give him right to pull you over, specially ride behind you for several miles (iirc against the law).

...but again, I don't live in NJ, so rule can be different

Even if so, my word against his :/ No winning here so I'm better off just showing up with the plate on, pay the fine + court fees (after all, mandatory court appearance) and just be happy he didn't see my tints on top of that. I'm happy I drive with my windows down 99% of the time.

I can slap a plate on and take it off as I please but NJ and tints...fine + mandatory court and not as easy to go back and forth between installed and not installed

As being more of a cat person than dog (granted, I've had great animals from both sides), the feels.

Best of luck.....internet hugs, something. I'm pretty bad at these things

I hope she's at peace in the end and you as well.

gotta love cops....reminds me of the time I got pulled over in some small town after having them follow me around for over a mile.

The offense? I apparently ran a stop sign......just took them a mile to figure out that I did it. Even took two whole units to pull me over.

also kind of reminds me about this crappy video but interesting all of the opinions it brought up.

@IntotheOcean

I'm really sorry to hear about the troubles you and your cat is going through. I can relate a bit, so I'll share a little something about my first cat.

My first cat was Rosie, a clico cat, and she was already home before I came into the picture. She was the first pet I had and I didn't know any better as baby how to treat her. So my parents wanted to teach me how to pat Rosie correctly. They placed me down on the floor next to her. They demonstrate how to pat her on her head gently and nicely. Well.. I didn't listen and I decided it would be a good idea to poke those big eyes of hers. In turn she ran off and didn't want anything to do with me. And when I say that, I mean she really didn't want anything to do with for a couple of years.
At some point Rosie got over it and she let it be known. She would always eat with me before school, she sit on my lap when I did my homework or watch TV, she run over to me when called her name, and she would sleep next to me when it was time for bed. She was always around me and I was glad she always was, so glad that she forgave me.

Time goes by and she's gotten older. She's hit 18 years old and me... I was about 10. At this time Rosie started having problems. This was the point my mother and I started to make many trips to the Veterinarian for Rosie. It was concluded that her kidneys were acting up. It was debated whether to try to keep her as long as possible or to simply put her down. Young as I was, I didn't want to hear such nonsense about anyone putting down my cat. So it was decided, we wanted to keep her around longer. I knew my mother did decided that mostly for my benefit.
A week passes by. I just got home from school and I could hear Rosie in the other room. She was crying out. I rush over to check on her and to find her lying down in the middle of the room. I kneel before here and try to reach out to her to calm her down.. but she swiped my hand away. She continues to cry. I never been so confused and so concerned in my life. My mother and sister join me and surround Rosie. We all looked at each other as we knew it was her last time with us.

In hindsight, my cat taught me a valuable lesson on life and death, cause it never it hit me so hard till that very day. So I wish you the best and do what you believe is right for your cat.
