The memo doesn't specify but my dealer said expect the same delays for all GTS variants.

I was told today by a dealer that there is a 19 month wait on the GTS, and a 6 month wait on the GT.
Also, he asked for a $2k deposit for a test drive, i thought it was only $1k deposit.

Making a breakthrough product is great, but being unable to meet demand is even worse as it could potentially damage customer experience and belief in the brand - judging by some people's experience here ...

I heard this too, that the 86 was going to be a limited production run and then they would stop building it.

Seems hard to believe but if true.... resale value would be good :-) and you'd even want to buy a white GTS and garage it for 50 years and see what it's worth then! assuming petrol is still around of course

Definitely not true. Its the first step in a line of new models to Toyota. We've all seen the news of BMW and Toyota developing a new sports car. This is a new direction for them.
