Yeah we do need to that don't we. Meantime, stuff remains in my trunk incase of sporadic run-in with each other. Nothing like supporting the community and purchasing a drink with couple fellas. We gots lots to talk about anyways.

+1. I like them getting out of city from time to time and enjoy some mountain air. Then they go back and I admire how do they park like that, let alone remember what side of the street to park on so they avoid street cleaners haha

Folks are more than welcome to join me (bring your radios if you do!). Some of you who have been to the Redwood Rd. drive will be familiar with the route. Here's the map:

https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=p...a=1,2&t=m&z=12

Meeting area will be the same as last time:

Peet's Coffee
20439 Redwood Rd
Castro Valley, CA 94546

Meet @ 7 and leave by 7:30, route should take about an hour, so plenty of time to make it back for breakfast

I was contemplating on if I wanted to make this ride but work this week has taken a toll on me and I didn't want to wake up that early sat morning. I'm going to sit this one out unless my body decides that it's up for it in the morning. So I'll be a maybe for now.

Bummer, next time!

It's kind of funny how an early morning drive is counterintuitive... if I've had a tough week at work it seems the last thing I would want to do is wake up early again on a Saturday and drive around. But this is precisely what relaxes me and sets me up for a great weekend.

I've always found a weird paradox between "MY time" and "THEIR time". Can't drag myself out of bed on a work day, tired all day... then when a weekend or vacation comes along, it's every day spring out of bed super early and get out there, cause it's MY TIME!

Exactly! For me, a good morning drive then coming home to have good greasy breakfast/brunch with the wife is a perfect start to the weekend.

Going to Maker Faire this Sat, hope I can do another drive soon. I drove 35/kings mtn road today again, and after about 20 times total in this car I feel comfortable with my steering. Anyone have any driving techniques?

Sat morning drive

Nice drive this morning. I had to go back and see the view since we didn't make it out here during the drive.
