^I think they may have some issues with the IC cores or IC performance

Focus on fixing the main problem, then move on to the auxillary upgrades.

Vortech was a lot easier to compete with when it was 215-225whp.... just saying...
Well you make a good point. I have a customer who was one of the first beta test customers for Vortech. They were stand up when they realized they had produced and sold a kit that made minimal gains (my na car is at 200 whp corrected NA) and provided the upgrade for free..his car was still down for a bit and he had to drop it off/pick itup at Vortech. I lot of customers would not want to deal with these "teething issues".

A few last points

First to market is not always best, its also not always worst, it's just first to market.

EVERY form of forced induction has its good points and its bad points.
THERE AINT NO SUCH THING AS A FREE LUNCH.
THERE ARE TRADEOFFS IN EVERY SYSTEM.
You as the customer need to DEFINE your wants/needs and look for the solution to fill your particular vision of what you want with YOUR car/project.

For road racing, Robispec feels a smaller displacement engine would benefit MOST from (in the dyno world) what is called "area under the curve". This is developed by early boost and usually is gained by trading off peak HP later in the graph. It is the "USEABLE WHP" we are interested in. We built our current car around having 155+ ft/lb tq from 4200 to 7K as that is where we live at the track. Positive displacemant superchargers makes boost with every rotation at the expense of generating more heat than other forms of boosting. Thats why where you use your car is IMPORTANT in the final decision...Having the highest Peak hp at 7500+ when 99.9% your driving time is spent between 2500 and 5500 just does'nt add up for me...

Any insight as to why you choose the non-intercooled vs the intercooled option?

They mentioned it before somewhere. Basically, IIRC, it's to see what they can break with that setup.

When product testing devloping Walk before Run...lol
Inovate continues final testing on their CARB aproval 91 california kit. They asked me to see how far e-85 would extend the power and start testing the drivability /durability with the higher boost and different fuel.

Talk to Gregg again Robi...that is not how it happened AT ALL. We needed 1 more car to confirm production tuning on, he was local and was having trouble with his car. His problems were with someone else's product entirely. We helped him out, and fixed his problem while it was here (and did his blower upgrade). Not trying to hijack, but want the facts to be available.

Actually, I'm pretty lazy. I just check here every day, and when it's available I'm sure someone will post about it.

Just my .02

I don't know if the intercooler with E85 will actually show any gains. E85 loves heat and it might even run better without the WAIC. There might be something there to gain, but you fight different demons with alcohol vs. pump gas. An intercooler is more important with pump gas than E85.

There's no 350F discharge temps from this blower like a (small&overspun) turbo. He also won't be fighting backpressure issues with a turbine housing clogging up the path. I THINK Robi will be able to go to the redline of the blower and the capacity of the injectors without a WAIC.

Garretts are easier when you're obliterated.
