For those that have been in contact with us, we apologize for the delays in releasing pricing and availability on our turbo system. We can assure you that this will happen very soon as we are near the production phase.

We decided to prototype an optional PnP oil cooling system at the same time. This oil cooler will work with our turbo system as well as most NA setups too. The oil cooler will also get our shop car ready for track testing. In addition, we're almost finished with our air box/shroud too. We've made a few minor changes to a few existing components to accommodate these new additions.

As most of you can tell from our bizzillion dyno pulls, autocrossing, ride alongs, etc.... we want to deliver a well finished product that will perform well on a DD and a weekend track warrior too.

I've heard that ptunning has done a TON of testing on this kit, so I'm sure when it's released it will be 100% ready.

Subscribed, when I do get a turbo kit, I'll definitely be going with yours!

The only issue for me is trying to stay legal for emissions :/

WRXGuy - not a chance. They have to replace the 2nd cat to fit the turbo.

Is there any sort of workaround? That sucks!

Do you have visual inspection? If so then yes it will not pass.

If there's a visual you'll fail that.

I'm in cali though (one of the strictest areas in terms of smog laws). Thinking about going turbo and just "reversing" it when the time comes, lol...

Once we've completed the oil cooler setup, we'll definitely post up some pics. It'll use an oil to air cooler.

It'll depend on how testing is conducted in your area. If it's based solely on an OBD2 readiness check, then you should be good to go. Cali on the other hand is a different story.

He asked about the kit being "legal for emissions". That's not possible in the US when you remove a catalytic converter. Passing an inspection is, of course, a whole other matter. I've had maybe 10 smog checks on my cars over the years. Only once did they ever make a visual inspection for emissions equipment. The rest of the time it was just pipe, rollers, and gas cap, if that.

Please don't think I'm criticizing this kit. I think it's by far the most awesome turbo choice I've seen. Well, the FB 750hp thing is cool too.

Any thoughts on a quick spool valve?
