I installed yesterday my new replacement header under warranty.

When I removed the first warped headers here is what it look like.

Thanks Borla for the replacement headers with perfect flat flange.

It was needed and necessary !

Welp, they are still shipping with defects, at least in the header to overpipe flange.







1-2mm gaps on either side of the flange. Won't seal properly with this defect. The block to header flanges are perfectly flat and would likely seal ok, but that doesn't matter. I paid for flat flanges after waiting several weeks on the newest production run with confirmation from Borla:



They are still shipping headers with warped flanges after all that BS and waiting and emails and two replacements. Unbelievable. I'm initiating a full refund for my original purchase order and will consider getting a Rev Works UEL header now.

Thanks, I've already paid for a JDL UEL header in their intro group buy as I prefer their inclusion of flex joints and a lifetime warranty versus the one year you offer.

The Rev Works header looks to be a great value and if I hadn't gotten intro pricing on the JDL I would have probably ordered one of yours.

Will you guys ever be offering your own EcuTek pump gas tunes? Might want to respond via PM.

Thanks for personally addressing the issue. Glad to see Borla backing up their products and accepting responsibility for mistakes made. Wish more companies would be so transparent.

My Borla UEL header just arrived. Ordered mine from ft86speedfactory back in March (used a sea freight forwarder that's why it took so long) so this header is from the early batch. Luckily, my engine flanges are perfectly flat, while the header to overpipe flange is slightly warped. I understand this will straighten itself once installed and torqued down. The collector also looks way better than the one posted by ALT_BRZ. Can't wait to install it tomorrow!!

meh , dont think so , I ordered it from a retailler in Canada .

I think he had the ''old'' batch
