I had an order for a GT MT, thats still scheduled for production and wouldve arrived in June, but luckily just this morning, my dealer contacted me and had good news, a GTS MT, should be ready for pick-up by this coming Monday!

Well done and congratulations on getting an upgrade! You wont regret it ONE bit!! If you hear some female having a go at you, she lives under the dash somewhere - just put a sock in her mouth!!

haha Thanks Zero! Really excited now that its almost within arms reach, this thread has been so useful and made the waiting process much more bearable lol

How long has the wait been? Anything more than 3-4 months would have been a nightmare!!

Same for me mate, to know I wasn't the only one I gained strength being able to communicate with so many others all 'paddling the same boat' Only trouble was a few with damn outboards shot straight past us!!

I ordered mid- January 2013, so the wait reached almost 4 months...
Hopefully all those still waiting get some good news sooner, HANG IN THERE!

Thanks! This site has been and still is the most informative to support those that have and still are waiting - we try to post timeframes so people have an idea exactly how long it takes once the order moves to 'scheduled for production'

A lot of people blame their Dealer for delays, I don't! I lay th blame squarely at the feet of Toyota Australia and their absolutely stupid method of allocating to Dealers rather than 'first in first served'

That can be seen that you ordered a GT mid January and it's a couple of days off pick-up, my original order was placed 2 July and that GT will NOT be to the Dealer until around 25 May!!!! Not your fault but that is TOTAL BULLSH*T!! No wonder so many people have either done the ring-around or simply cancelled their order!

Again, well done and enjoy the ride!!

That's pretty good really, your web tracking should update around 23rd of each month .. so it will move from 'Planned' to 'Scheduled'

For a idea, and 'The Demons' I'm sure can also give dates for his, mine was planned then scheduled for December, that happened 26/12 of all days and I had it 14 February, maybe a little longer than most from end production to Dealers, so from that I can estimate for you around late August early September will see you arriving home with it!!

My tracker updated on the 21/01/13, which gave a production month of March.
The tracker updated to 'Scheduled for production' on 22/02 .
On the 25th of March it changed to 'in production'
On the 2/4 it updated to 'in transit to Aus'
On the 12/4 it updated to ''Being prepared for transport to dealer'
And pick it up on 19/04

The difference between 'The Demons' and mine was that his was 17 days from loading to delivery to him whilst mine was around 31 days - I had the Christmas-New Year period which could explain plus Cyclone Oswald - 'The Demons' only had Korea aiming missles at Guam whilst his ship was there!!
