@BuBlake.
If I remember correctly, you had an Injen intake a while back. Did the Unichip tune help with the idle issues? I know that the Unichip made off-idle, throttle response better with it.

Oh yeah, the idle was fixed. I live in Houston, though, so as soon as it started to heat up here, the engine began to bog after sitting at stop lights. Usually it wasn't too bad, but on occasion it would bog so bad that it would actually stop revving(felt like a temporary 100% loss of torque). I didn't know that intake air temperature could make that big of a difference, but apparently it can.

On cold days it was an absolute blast, though, and felt like it had 240hp. Now, with stock intake, the car feels significantly slower even with Unichip, though I can attribute this to my resonator delete, which some people would side with me in saying that it makes the car run worse. My fastest 0-60 was 7.1 seconds on my torque app with stock intake(Zeta silicon, resonator delete&KN AF) + unichip, pretty sad. I didn't have any way of testing my 0-60 when I had the Injen, but it felt like at least a low 6 or maybe a high 5.

Thanks for the quick response.

It gets hot here in northern Alabama here too so if I experience the same issues, I will be ditching my Injen for the TRD. (I never thought I would say that!)

I never thought of getting a cold air intake... Are the gains that much better over the stock box with a drop in with the unichip? Maybe jack can join in

Yep he has the full perrin intake. Do you think a front pipe provides more power than a cold air intake?

Over and mid pipe provide more go but having cai also only increases them more.

Have any of you guys heard anything else about e85 for the UniChip?

That is the only thing that has kept me from buying it but my mod-list is starting add up and I won't be able to run stock tune for much longer.
