Definitely don't want to tarnish this thread so I'll be brief. If you have any issues getting this warrantied through Borla, please let me know. I have a couple of other channels I can go through. We may even be able to get a return label and new one out sooner than them. I will forward your pictures to my warehouse.

According to Heath@Borla there is no reinforcement bracket in the production model.

Borla customer service is great though, I just wish I would have checked before installing... I've been chasing exhaust leaks for about a week until I found out the flange was warped

Edited my post above with additional pic of warping at the header to overpipe flange. Just noticed that after DJ mentioned specifically where his leak was.

Within two hours of sending an email with pics of the flanges, Chris @ Borla responded and has initiated a warranty order number for me and a new header will be sent to me tomorrow with tracking. With any luck it will arrive before this weekend. Not holding my breath, but I'm happy with the customer service from Borla so far in getting this resolved.

Thanks for sharing, I hope I don't run into this issue with the FA20Club header. It looks like the gasket is big enough to seal up the overpipe connector but that one side of the manifold has a significant of enough warp to it. Good to check before going through the effort of pulling the OEM header off. That sucks, but Borla has a brand to protect so I'm sure they will take care of it.

Well this is disappointing. I was just double checking threads before I made the final decision to pull the trigger on my borla header... >.<

Borla is taking care of the flange issue. All of those with warped headers will be taken care of. Borla stands behind everything they do.

My borla UEL is currently in transit from Florida ( FA20club.com ) to me in Quebec, Canada.

I just hope I will not get one warped like yours please god.....

It is a real pain in the ass if I have to send it back to them in the states once you finally get it after such a long wait...

Would be an even bigger pain in the ass if you didn't know to check the flanges before installing them and ended up with a leak. Just being optimistic, lol. I didn't notice it until DJ told me I should check them. At least we know they need to be checked for warping until the Borla factory gets the production issues remedied.

Wow that was fast. I was hoping to do the same this weekend, but no word on my order. My growing list of parts to come...

looking forward to some vids!

Now I'm 100% sure mine will be warped also...

They must be all warped....

It is not an isolated problem anymore but a normal problem to the entire production line.
