Subaru Canada has got a hell of a problem... The base WRX here is over $32000 and the Scion FR-S is going to cost $2000 to $2500 more than the US version. Assuming the US car is $23000 then a $25000 Subaru BRZ will rape the WRX market. That won't happen though, the BRZ will cost $5000 more than an FRS in Canada.

Hmm, well my family has put over 3 million miles on Toyota vehicles. Whether it was a MR2 Turbo, Celica GT-S, Camry, or a pickup truck. Never had a problem with them, put well over 200k miles on every single one.
Plus, Subaru is pretty reliable as well. |

25k or so to start is reasonable but not cheap. If you get all the options and trd goodies i bet it will be close to or a bit over 30kUS$ |

"WHAT?! that much for a Scion? HA! *runs over to a Mazda, Ford, or Hyundai Dealership* Same reason Nissan has trouble sometimes selling the GTR to people whom regularly drive a BMW, Audi, Etc. Seriously, Toyota is not stupid, hell, they are so huge for a reason, including Subaru. Also, i know this car is lighter and what-not and has a center of gravity as low as grandma's knockers but c'mon guys, regular people (hell, even girls who just want a "hot" car) will not care about Center of Gravity or milimetrical values on a piece of paper. they will just see a small, fun SCION, that happens to look devilishly attractive. |
