24-25k with Navi, push start engine etc won't happen. With all the options it'd at least be 28k.

Scion's are generally kitted out pretty well at their base trim. If it came in at $24K base, that is still a winner to me.

They sell scion models with steelies and hub caps on them so it might be possible to work out something with the dealer to cut down the price but then again we are dealing with Scion. I've done it before with toyota when my father bought his previous 4runner, asked them to switch the alloys that it came with cheap wheels and we got a new setup a day later.

I feel it wont be too much more expensive than the TC. My guess is a 23.5K us starting price.
That's a very good point if we are assuming that they intend to sell a lot of the things. But with Leeky relaying that the Toyota big wigs only intend to ship 1000 units per year (possible miscommunication aside), there is the possibility that the FR-S will only be a halo car for scion. Basically, something that isn't really intended to make money (and Toyota says they're only breaking even), only to get young folks excited about the Scion brand so that they'll come into the dealership and buy the more affordable/profitable tC.

If that's the case, then a huge difference in price is only to be expected. After all, who would pay $80k for a Nissan, $90k for a Dodge, $115k for a Chevy, $150k for a Ford or $400k for a Lexus?

To me, here in Oz, my expectation is Low 40Ks AUD drive away.

Anything over 45K drive away... I'm looking back to a used 370Z, which cost around 45K-55K used here with under around 20K miles (30K kms etc).

In Oz, a converted to RHD Corvette Z06 is worth 200K AUD lol.

A converted ZR1 is selling at Ferrari / Porsche 911 price range.....

tacoma/hilux: uk = 16,090 us = $16,875

gt86/frs: uk 28k(reported) us = 28k (deal breaker)

hope im wrong.. and i didnt take any time to research this, just base to base price..

That's fine, but it doesn't make the rest of them shitty just because you don't like them. Toyota builds them remember.

No, no you've got it all wrong. Honor demands that Scion commit sepukku, and if it hesitates Toyota must cut it's head of with a katana.
