WeatherTech mats are the best mats I've ever owned!

Canadian BRZ don't come with winter mats. At first I bought a pair of Lloyd mats. They looked very nice but just doesn't have enough coverage for someone who drives in Canada so i ended up buying a pair of WeatherTech. Quite expensive but very good for Canadian climate.

Well. . considering we're in the FRS forum and not the BRZ forum, my post pertained only to Canadian FRS cars.

They're more of a sandwich of plastic materials with a rubberized texture. You will feel that brand new mats appear to be slightly more slippery than ordinary rubber mats, but you will quickly get used to them. The initial slipperiness WILL go away as you use the mats - wearing in the surface will take most of that slipperiness away due to the slight abrasive action of dirt and your shoes.

After a few days of using the mats, you will probably end up using them year round, only taking them out every couple of months to clean them. 100% well worth every penny....

I did not get the grommets. The mats just lay over the locks, but they are very heavy and so do not move around much.

Just got the front floor mats and rear trunk mat and they fit like a glove. No fit issues what so ever.

Got them in today. Perfect fitment like everyone else has noted. I do not have to deal with snow and salt, but I want to save my normal floor mats for car shows. I figure these will come in handy during the summer rainy season here.

Thanks for this guys, going to pull the trigger on these. Question - anyone know of a 'mat' suitable for placing over the entire area (seamless) when the rear seats are down? I may need to carry surfing gear from time to time and need something to prevent water and sand damage.

Or best just to line the rear seats with some other material and 'glue' that to the trunk mat? Ideas?
