Hi Everyone

I picked up my 86 about 10 days ago. It's already had it first track day (with 450kms on the clock).

Check out the photo. Two Toyota GTS 86 in Tornado Grey (Asphalt in the Scion colours).

The intention is to take this to the track as often as possible. I'll be focusing on brakes and suspension mods and don't intend to make any changes to the engine/exhaust anytime soon.

I'll make another post about my first impressions on the track. There were certainly a few pleasant surprises there.

I've been waiting to get my slice of the FR-S cake since January! The dealership said to wait until February, then to wait until March, then to wait until April. I've been obsessively checking their inventory on their website and, to my surprise, they had 3 FR-S' in stock! After calling them up, the dealer ends up telling me that their site is "not updated". Call me crazy but I have a feeling they're holding out!

Hi! Been looking to pick one of these new 86's up since hearing about them years ago. Finally got my stuff together and will be picking up a Scion whiteout this weekend. Looking forward to sharing ideas with you all.

Does anyone know when the release date for the 2014 year models are going to be?

Hello from the UK!

Thought I'd say hello as I've been lurking since having a couple of test drives in a gt86 recently.

I'm currently driving a lightly tuned VW Scirocco:-





I really like the scirocco and have had it for four years now from new (longest I've ever kept a car by a long way) but I'm very tempted by a gt86 after the test drives.

Just wanted to say it's a really great forum and I've learnt a lot already (sadly nothing to help with my decision though! )
