I've tried it twice but I'm going to try it again, just in case. Never give up without a fight!

It doesn't work. Tried it and wedged the hooter relay hard into the DRL socket. No luck

But I do have to nice scrape notches on the hooter relay from the needle-nose pliers slipping cause that fecker was so tight in their.

Haha I got it out with my bare hands so you can just imagine how my fingers felt afterwards.

It's a pity that it's not working on our cars but there not much else we could do I guess. Unless we rewire the DRL...

Sheesh dude. How did u manage to get your fingers in between those fuses. Not to mention you fingers must have been numb afterwards (or bleeding).

Very very carefully and just the very tips of my fingers. Determenation can be a nasty thing sometimes.

Too bad it didn't work for you guys

But at least we know know that your cars are somewhat prewired for DRL since you have the wire at the headlight connector and the DRL fuse at the dashboard fusebox. All I can think of is that maybe the DRL socket is missing the connections underneath?

I can't understand why TMC SA would elect not to allow for DRL's here in SA. South africans love DRL's... Maybe Subaru wanted it to be unique to their cars :/ and toyota agreed...

Could be, I'll see if I can have a look under the fuse box at some stage.

Those are very nice but I still want the OEM DRL to work properly. I know how to wire them, I just need to figure the pins on the headlights out.
