I mostly just run it... book keeping, call insurance/warranty, some translating, order parts/supplies, get bitched at by customers for stuff my partner promises, etc etc...

I had two career type jobs. In 1957 I became a young LEO in the suburbs of Detroit. After seven years I decided I wanted a "normal" job and I went to work as an insurance claims rep. While I improved myself financially I will say that many times I felt regret about leaving the police department. There is a camaraderie there that would be similar to what you would find in the military (also similar to what the OP enjoys). I handled automobile insurance claims till I retired in 1989 as an insurance claims manager.

Thank you for your service and bravery.

I used to be in Fire Protection - Base Building, Residential/Commercial and Tenant Installation. I then moved into Service/Inspections and stayed in Service until I went into Small Contract Sales.

The whole construction industry hit the wall here a few years back and I started looking into doing something new and different.

Now I sell Suby's.
