Imho, Asphalt looks great with the stock wheels, like it was meant to be.

If I had a "neutral" color car, i.e. Asphalt, Raven, or Argento (I won't include Whiteout because the pearl has an almost yellow tint to it) I wouldn't hesitate to go with some colored rims to offset it. Red would be my first choice, to match the interior of course, but also any other bright color would look good. But that is just my opinion. My favorite look is a matte black vinyl wrapped body with bright shiny red wheels. But I ended up with Ultramarine with bright silver wheels, so what do I know?

This looks like Asphalt and came out pretty good. Got lucky and got a DGM BRZ, so I'm hoping I can pull this off later down the road, minus some the things on this one that is pictured.

I was thinking of plastidipping my stock rims with a bronze color to see how they turn out. I always loved bronze rims but I feel like they really only work on brighter-colored cars.

If you lower the car and put some spacers in there, the stock rims can look pretty great on all the colours. However, the stock height and the offset just isn't nice.

It's a really hard color to wheel-match. But bronze doesn't look good on anything IMO.

I originally thought I wanted black gloss with my Asphalt but then after seeing someone on the forum's Asphalt with black metalized wheels it looks REALLY boring. I originally loved the color but now I feel like its becoming more and more bland. IMO the only good looking color for the stock rims (plasti dipped) is white but it's just a tad too flamboyent for my taste.

Agreed. To me it almost looks like the inner spoke walls were actually painted in asphalt, or at least something pretty damn close. I like the stock wheels on mine, if I was going to change anything it would be those damn tires!

Plastidipped mine. Also, blacked out headlights help a ton.

Hyper silver, flat black or gold will look good.

Always got to keep the contrast.

I'm looking at pulling the trigger on these as soon as I figure out how the sequestration is going to affect me. I'm avoiding large purchases until then.
