those are fake you can instantly tell. Thing is no one seems to know the exact dimensions of the Front Badge and the smaller rear. I cannot find an OEM replacement for either. IF anyone finds them let us all know as I am sure most of us would like to change the out of place blue on other colors than GBS and WRB

I saw this BRZ STI picture as below and think that will looks a little bit special with STI badge in the fort of the BRZ front grille.
http://www.topspeed.com/cars/subaru/...ure445861.html
I also find one product on Ebay "STi Front Grille Emblem Badge SUBARU Impreza WRX Legacy BRZ JDM Forester Outback"
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150976143997
However, the grille is different between BRZ and Impreza WRX STI.
So, this front badge will not fit BRZ. Is that correct?
Thanks.

This shit got me caught at work for surfing the forum .. I LoL'd pretty hard!

To add to that: I can't believe how many people with Auto's modify their car on this forum. That doesn't happen in the Honda/Acura world. Enthusiasts drive stick (women included of course) and hardparkers get driven in automagic's. If this were a Mercedes forum I could understand all the auto's as their trannies are actually faster than a stick but that's not even close to the case with the auto Twin's transmissions. But hey, it does do that cool blip when you downshift the auto to simulate a true manual transmission lol

The auto tranny on this car is amazing, and is not inferior to the manual. They both can drift, they make the same power, the auto shifts pretty quick, the auto gets more mpg, even the auto can hold its own on turbos. The main reason you would probably get the manual is to have a more immerse driving experience.

tl;dr: The Auto is just as good the manual.

while i am impressed with what i read and hear about the auto. on the other side, they are geared differently and the auto is more expensive. with those concepts in mind, it doesnt make a whole lot of sense to start off with the auto.

The guy was asking about badges not about which transmissions were better or what makes whoever look gay.

OP: whatever you do please don't put an "I" badge on your BRZ

JDM BRZ badges are the same ones you have on your car. If you want pink ones its probably too early for anyone to be making them in our size and you might just have to do it yourself. I would look up (search) Badge Painting on NASIOC or IWSTI if I were you.

I imagine the "slower" part is due to different gearing, obvious because of the higher mpg rating. I don't think many people will be changing their final drive, but the aftermarket can "fix" just about anything.

Can't think of any time that an auto was the less expensive option in anything too. I'm sure there's probably been at least one situation where the manual was a "premium" option though.

Automatic just seems to be associated with America. I'm not saying all americans drive them, but it seems as if we have far more auto's here then any other country.

Save the manuals!!!

like i said, i have nothing against automatics. the automatic frs is slower and more expensive. to make it less slow, it gets even more expensive. people can buy automatics if they want and change whatever they want. if you are trying to make a car fast its best to start with the cheaper, faster option. thats all im saying
