Is there a thorough explanation of what each parameter means... and how they interact?
I'll give it a guess (from my experience with Ford ECU's). Open-Loop Fueling: MAF * Scaling Factor --> Load Load + VVT Trim + RPM --> Open Loop Fuel Map --> Fuel Mass Fuel Mass + Pressure + Battery Voltage + IAT --> Direct Inj PWs + Port Inj PWs (split injection may be enabled) Closed-Loop Fueling: Adaptive AFR Target + AFR Feedback --> Fuel Mass Trim This probably has catalyst cycling built in. Torque Control: Pedal Position --> Torque Request Torque Request - Calculated Torque --> Delta MAF Delta MAF + Current MAF --> Delta Throttle Angle Active Knock Control: IAT + Load + RPM --> Open-Loop Ignition Timing OL Ignition Timing + Time Since Knock * Ignition Advance/Retard Rates --> Closed-Loop Ignition Timing Obviously I'm not including anything related to idle, WOT, etc that involves a threshold or limit. Can somebody clarify the structuring the parameters for me? |

Did you happen to get a list of loggable params? Mainly want to see if front o2 is included since it is a wide range sensor (12.0 - 20.0 AFR).

Weird, his screenshots show "Air Flow Sensor Scaling" in the top right. Then again, none of the screenshots are from a BRZ, all WRX.

So have you tried changing something and reflashing? Like say the rev limiter or something simple like that?

I'm not sure exactly what i want to see...
Is there any indication how the ECU deals with knock? how about MAF sensor scaling? I assume "Fuel Map" is open loop fueling? |

I am still a little surprised at the pricing but I guess the point was to compete directly with Ecutek. The cost for the personal edition plus the cable is about $650 with the ability to edit and trade maps, etc. |

Does it offer on-the-fly changes? or require the map to be uploaded after each change?
any of the major tuners plan on tuning on this platform as well? May make it easier to expand their customer base due to lower point of entry, but only if the feature sets are comparable (which it currently looks like ECUtek has the advantage there.) |
