That brake kit is ridiculous, especially if they're using an eco-tuned 215 tire. Looks like you might need 18"s to clear the BBK, too. If that's the case, I'm definitely out. I think the standard kit with upgraded rear discs would be enough for me. Probably the same with the SS lines, rubbers can offer a better modulation feel sometimes, I'll wait and see.
Love the aero kit, especially the deck lid lip. If the rear lights from the BRZ are interchangable with the FR-S, that'd be even better. Can't say I'm thrilled with any of the diffusers though. I want a single exit - simpler and easier to maintain, and probably lighter. I'll probably look elsewhere for suspension and exhaust, see what AST has to offer down the road. Where is my TVS R900, TRD?! You didn't say it would be there, but you didn't say it wouldn't either! |

I'm hoping the brake kit is some foreshadowing to some form of power adder down the road.

Probably 18x8s with a similar offset and 225/45 or 235/40 tires

And to your other statement about only building bland econoboxes. You have to admit it was true for a lot of years. I'm elated to see those days come to an end. I'm already planning the trip to SEMA next year. Every year there seems to be a feature car that there are 100 examples of all decked out. Last years car was the new Camaro. My bet is that the BRZ/SCION will be next years jewell of the show. Gonna be a long year waiting for SEMA 2012. |

Yes, one of the options said "compatible with normal calipers." I assumed this to mean those 18" cast wheels wouldn't clear the BBK's calipers. But will 17" wheels clear the BBK calipers?
I think I already talked myself out of them, anyway.
