I found a pre order on some acura forums. for $950 shipped for a set. Staggered or square set up too. I emailed them, and their ready to take pre-orders but you have to pay the whole $950 up front. They seem legit, but I don't know.

I don't know much about the tires or the wheels sizing but i'm looking for a "SAFE" setup (No Rubbing) going on a Sportline drop. No track or auto-x, just an aggressive daily driver. I currently have black Enkei Fujin 18x8 Squared. I'm not digging the look much.
What do you guys think of TireRack's suggested staggered fitment for the KOJIN? 18x8 Front 40 offset Recommended Tire 225/40-18 18x9.5 Rear 45 offset Recommended Tire 255/35-18 Do you think the KOJIN is going to have any concave in the front? It seems it will have some in the rear. Will the differences in concave (front vs Rear) detract from the setup or look stupid? Also I was thinking of going Silver instead of the black on an Asphalt FRS. Opinions or thoughts? thanks, |

I don't think it looks dumb and makes the rear wheels look all that more menacing for the staggered setup. For the tire setup, I'd probably go with 225/40 front and 235/40 rear --------------- Group Buy Just wanted to let everyone know that we are having a group buy on this wheel through FT86 - head over to our Group Buy thread for more information! |

I'm trying to decide between these and the new 18x9.5" +42 Mach V Wicked Awesome which come I'm a 56.1mm hub bore and an actual clear coat on the paint. Matte paint is a paint to take care of....so I am torn.

On Tirerack's site, they have two different pictures showing the difference in the wheel face for the 8"-8.5" and the 9"-9.5". It looks like the 8"-8.5" will still be somewhat concave, as opposed to being completely flat, which could kill the look of this wheel. It's not as obvious as the wider wheel, of course, but still looks like it could be a good option. Hopefully the 17x8 +40 will turn out well.

Just purchased a set in silver 18x8 + Continental Ex DW (225/40) with TPMS. Should arrive before the end of the week. I estimate total weight is around 42lbs.
