Premium is better than R
RA has no comparison but has less features.

S differences from USDM Limited:
S adds leather trimmed door speakers and knee pads
S adds frameless mirror

Limited has Alcantara & seat heaters, S it's an option.
Limited has Rear Spoiler, S it's an option (with Floor Undercover).

USDM has LED Dayliner, JDM is option.

R differences from USDM Premium:

Limited adds Silver panels, R has unpainted black
Limited has 17" wheels, R has 16"
Limited adds Leather steering wheel, ebrake, shift knob
Limited adds aluminum pedals
Limited adds aluminum door sills
Limited adds bigger brakes
Limited adds Torsen LSD
Limited adds foglights
Limited has different Final Gear

RA has steel wheels
RA has smaller brakes
RA loses A/C
RA loses Radio & Speakers
RA loses 1 USB port
RA loses painted mirrors
RA loses cup holder
Wait what? How? Are you talking bout AT vs MT?

Yes, this was the wrong place. As I said, I started a topical thread.

Regarding that part...is the gearset 'optional' in any market (i.e. you get to choose)? Or is it just "you get what you get - some places it's 3.73 and some it's 4.10"?

You get what you get.

The R and RA come standard with the 3.727 and the S comes standard with the 4.100.
The 6AT is only available as a 4.100.
Reverse is the same in all 6MT at 3.437 and the 6AT is 3.168.

Beyer,

Thanks for the update. Question for you:

R&RA has HID but they're not adjustable?
Passenger footwell flare doesn't count in my book b/c it's just a Japanese regulation, like TPMS on USDM or headlight washers on EDM.

Yeah Bro. Thanks for putting a thread together.

Yep, all models have HID's but it's only the S model that has height adjustability.

I have a cosmetic difference. The rectangle under the head lamps. USDM does not have this I have noticed.

This is for the headlight washers in other world markets. They aren't present in USDM or JDM spec cars.

If the RA was available here (or the Scion/Toyota equivalent), that's what would be sitting in my driveway right now. I love bare bones "body-in-white" type cars...

An RC? http://toyota.jp/86/001_p_001/grade/grade4/index.html It retails for 22k USD in Japan.

Power folding except since it's RHD, everything is backwards, unless EDM cars have em.
