Same here. I was at Putnam Scion in Burlingame a few days ago and all 3 of their FR-S inventory had leather installed for 4K markup. Ridiculous price for custom leather.

Piercey Scion in Milpitas still has a nice Lava FR-S on display, but with a TRD exhaust and aftermarket wheels pushing the price north of 30K *sigh*...

I wonder if I put a deposit down for a future allocation they would sell it outright with no dealer-installed nonsense.

I heard this also.

BTW Piercy did sell me my car for MSRP. I think they get so many allocations because they are such a large volume dealer so they they sell some at MSRP but do take some and add shit on and jack the price through the effing ROOF!

I've been trying to do this since October, good luck.

Get them to confirm the PRICE in writing, I think that's where my big mistake was.

Thats not actually too bad... Clearbra is around 9 for decent coverage.. BS fin and tint are another 3-350, so $700ish is a convenience price and also allows you bargaining if anything goes wrong on any of those things.

BRZ are available below MSRP, way below, if you can drive to PHX, pm me for details on my contact at the dealership.
Here are the 2 of the 2013 Subaru BRZ’s that are incoming this month with approx ETA of 1/21/13.

2013 BRZ Limited manual in Sterling Silver with Popular PKG #1B MSRP of $28807.00 sale price of $27988.00 plus fees, over $800 off MSRP

2013 BRZ Limited Automatic in World Rally Blue with Popular PKG #1B MSRP of $29907.00 sale price $28998.00 plus fees, over $900 off MSRP

The Popular PKG #1B consists of auto dimming mirror with compass & homelink, rear bumper appliqué, chrome fender trim, cargo tray, and wheel locks.

I dont sell these, I have a great relationship with the dealership and can refer members, I dont work for them.

Sorry buddy, that looks like a whole bunch of markup to me;
http://www.subaru.com/vehicles/brz/index.html
Subaru BRZ Premium MT $25,495 + $770 Destination/Delivery = $26,265
AT = +$1,100, ($27,365)
Limited MT= $28,265

At least that's how I define MSRP, some may disagree. If you want the add-ons more power to you.

Edit: butdamnbrian is correct, I swapped trim levels
