Installed Hella horns. Didn't have to pull the front bumper off. Went in from underneath with the car on jackstands. I hate dealing with those S**TTY clips on the corner markers.

I didn't take any pics, but the install was pretty straight forward. I used this http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14123 howto for wiring info.

1) Get the car up on jackstands so you can get underneath it.
2) There's an outer plastic cover that covers the area between the bottom lip of the bumper and the jacking point on the front of the car. Remove all bolts and plastic tab/screws/whatever they are called. Pull the plastic cover off and set aside.
3) There will then be a plastic submember. Remove all bolts and plastic tabs/screws/whatever they are called. There are 2 of these tabs that are connected from the opposite side of the submember, use a screwdriver to push the center UP and then they can be pushed out (actually up) from underneath. Pull the submember off and set aside.
4) Locate both horns (on passenger side) and disconnect the wires at the factory clip.
5) Remove horn from area behind grill on lower end of bumper.
6) Locate the 2 10mm mounting bolts referenced in the above howto and remove them.
7) On the horn that is mounted on the driver's side, run 2 wires from each of the terminals over to the factory lead for the horn behind the grill. The factory lead has 2 wires, black (ground), black/green (power). Connect one wire to each using a vampire tap or equivalent, polarity does not matter for the horns.
8) On the horn that is mounted to the passenger's side run 2 wire from each of the terminals over to the factory lead for the horn behind the grill. Connect one wire to the black wire referenced in 7), and the other to the single wire on the factory harness for the other horn (this is a positive lead).
9) Test the horns. Troubleshoot as needed.
10) Put everything back together.
11) Profit!!!

I was driving back from town today and there is a ton of gravel on the roads (from recent snows)...well it makes the drive home so much more fun! Holy shit, it was fantastic, just go into a turn going about 25 and get on the gas and do glorious drifts....makes me happy I bought this car. Way too much fun all the time lol

Have my 86 for one week now. Just had custom tips installed and the muffler delete done. Now it sounds like it should.

Yeah I auto Cross and track mine it's a boat load of fun on a track but it really shows it's true colors during autocross because it is a little low on power for the average track but still a blast to take out there.
