Well hopefully with Toyota releasing the FT, Nissan bringing back the 240, Honda will take notice and release something other than the CR-Z. I can dream right?

50k Canadian. Right now that would translate to:
50 600 Canadian dollars = 47 556.41 U.S. dollars (according to Google)

Whats the average income in Canada though?

Relatively speaking, the U.S. average income right now is $27,000...so if you cannucks make ~ $38-40k a year on average, then it makes a bit more sense.

If not, then yeah, thats insane.

And if that were the case, it would be more than well worth it to come to america to buy a vehicle for substantially less and just bring it back over (even if you lived wayyyyyy up north. The amount you'd save on the price alone would well cover gas, etc. for the trip).

Unless thats illegal?

You can purchase a vehicle from the states (new or old) but there are some procedures you must follow. Its outlined here.

I went through the whole thing,...seems pretty straight forward, for the most part. Still, after the costs of all the gov. paper work, it'd have to come out cheaper...I mean, we're talking ~11k difference here....

Edit: hahaha, not-admissable: 1994 Paseo...

Canada said GTFO with that POS!
