In June the dealer kept correcting me when I said GT86 saying it is officially the FT86 with 2 models available etc.

Save your anger for more important matters like the idiots who get quiet and quite confused or spell etc ECT!!!!

To me it's a GT86 with a posh one available with an S after GT.

Shocking! Mind you he was only repeating a Toyota directive by saying that in June, so he wasn't to blame. They must have got hung up on the FT bit after seeing/hearing it for 4 years.
Next time I go in to see where my GTS 86 is I'll ask him if Toyota have told to stop calling it the FT 86 yet in line with the forums and their adverts?

It irritated me at the time to be corrected.

Haven't seen any over here in the south of WA either. It helps when you've been waiting for almost 5 poxy months after paying the deposit and it still hasn't been built. At least it fits with the story of very short supply.

Spec always comes after model. So it's an 86 GTS.

It may be technically correct but it's not used very often and the name GT 86 and GTS 86 are the ones most people use and recognise, me included.

It's a bit like the name you were given at birth that usually changes a bit in actual use. You always get someone who insists on using the original version for some reason but it sounds strange and a bit embarrassing.

It doesn't matter what the person calls it.

He paid his money, he can call it farkin space shuttle if he likes.

You all know what he meant.

It's fine if you want to call it that, but that is not true at all and it would probably be wise to drop the subject around knowledgable owners/fans.

Saw one last night, in my garage. It only comes out on weekends.

There are a few in Broadbeach. This was awhile ago parked off to get some icecream @ movenpick with the other half and had a red one parked on the opposite street. Then had blue one pass through.

If you see one with tan seats that is me.

Hey Kamal, l have managed to pick a car up from Hervey Bay and should be collecting in the next week or so. If you are still free I wouldn't mind heading your way when it is time to add some Vis magic to it. I am going to run it in first but that will be done within the first 2 weeks so I would be looking towards the end of the month if that is ok with you.

I assume you are still loving the tune and having fun?

Thanks buddy
