so by looking at this I can only hope we land somewhere close to the civic type r maybe a bittt better

Excuse my ignorance here, but are these times for the Nordschleife plus the full Nurburgring track, or just the Nordschleife tourist loop? Given the 8+ minute times being discussed I'm assuming the latter...

This car might be competitive for the first 3/4 of the ring, but once it hits that straight, it's finished. Toyota would have said they were impressed with the prototype's results be now if it had a great time. I know it's still testing, but I doubt the parts are even finalized yet.
