Cars and Coffee is too early in the morning on Saturday. That is my sleep in day and I just can't justify getting up with the sun for it. Sadly we have nothing on the calendar for a gathering but we do need to arrange another.

C&C is too much flash for me, so I'm going to opt to not make it by accident.

(Despite living less than 5 minutes from the location)

The only reason I go is because its usually the time with my dad and brother without the women being around.

Well I'd be up for a meet sometime. Anyone ever gone to Houston for the TX2K events? I know it's not till March, but thought it would be cool to have a cruise down there for it.

hey all, first post on the forum.

i have a black limited 6mt brz, just crossed 2k miles. i moved to dallas in july, starting a new job fresh out of college. still learning about the area, trying to find the right places to go for things.

can anyone recommend places in DFW for the following:

affordable car wash place (no hose access at my apartment complex)

window tint shop

detailing shop

i live at 75/lovers in dallas and work at 75/spring creek in plano. would prefer places around this area. but for the sake of the forum, list your own suggestions/locations!

didn't find any forums like this, but figure it can be useful to some people other than me

I go to AutoSplash located at 7740 Preston Road Frisco, TX 75034. http://www.autosplash.com/service_carwash.html

They have a $4 exterior wash and they towel dry it for free and have self-service vacuum for free. That's a pretty nice value! If you want to wash your car at least once a week, they have an annual pass for unlimited washes for $199. And no, I don't work there, or know any one that works there. This is an unpaid endorsement.
