Got tired of factory CARBON look like wrap... Soooo - off it goes! Gonna get some real CF overlay instead!
![]() After removing all the vinyl from factory pieces (it was pain in the ass to be honest...) sanded all the plastic with 40grit (to get surface as routh as posible for epoxyd resin to stick better) and layed few even coats of resin: ![]() Letting resin dry and gettin it to be sticky really helps to lay down CF. After i got CF all around the parts - i still waited a bit for CF cloth to stick to the parts. Once its done - layed few more heavy coats fo resin on top. ![]() After first few coats got dry - sanded all the not needed cf out from the parts - and sanded surface with 80grit - to get some routh inperfections out. And off it goes another few heavy coats. ![]() Tomorow will sand it down even more, with some lighter grit sandpaper - and if it will all even - will shoot clear on it! looks quite better then original to be honest

Great work. Love the headlights and taillights. Exactly what I would do, if I had the nerve and the time.

Heh - Guys - im WAY too far away to do this
Dont think shipping parts to me / back would be cost effective.... Will post pictures tomorow of the parts installed Today i vent to our biggest Subaru dealers - to tease them Cuz then i wanted to get BRZ - they told be price of 43000$ and delivery date around next month (this was then i was trying to order BRZ still in early march ) so they have 2 of the BRZ now - and this was my first time looking at BOTH cars live - and to be honest - 90% of Subaru dealers - said FRS front looks better What i would take from BRZ is the headlights - they really do look better ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh - and THANKS GOD my FRS is without this MIG29 (as i call it ) Spoiler! Damn - it was designed by the same designer who did FRS headunit
