Love it!!
Looking forward to seeing the FT-86 II at the International Australian Motor Show this July at Melbourne!! Just bouncing around in excitement with some mates of mine.
I reckon we might see people doing conversions on their FT-86 or FR-S just like the 180sx. Gonna look good

The more I look at the rear, the more it reminds me of the tail on the old 2000gt.

The front end viewed from this angle reminds me of my old MK2 MR2 for some reason. |

Hopefully. I'm not sure if this is the final product or if Toyota is just seeing how fast it goes as is. We can only hope they make it even faster...

For the record, I like this better than any of the concepts to date.

Didnt the MR2 SW20 have issues of Snap oversteer also? In its Gen I form anyways, then they increased the width of the Rear Tyres and suspension tune to "fix" it. I am definitely going for a Staggered Wheel setup for this new Toyota Coupe, why can't they release it with a staggered setup from the factory? Cost wise it cant be that bad, since just order Half 18 x 7s and Half 18 x 8s. |

mr2 is MR, of course it's gonna snap oversteer compared to a front engined car.

Wow, the taillights were almost a deal breaker for me. I was thinking oh, back to my evo aspirations but it's definitely grown on me. I like it. Can't wait to see it without camo.
P.S. still trying to figure out how the trunk would open with it jutting in into the trunk line like the concepts. |

Thanks for this post. The difference in the headlight/bumper in the LFA concept to production is helping me have faith that the headlights/tailights in this FT86 mule will change for the final product. |
