Has anyone figured out how the taillights are split so the trunk/hatch is even able to open?

If you think of a traditional 3/5 door hatch then no. But if you think more along the lines of a liftback it could. Hard to tell with all the camo on the car.
There were some good points made by matador and want.fr-s: Quote:
This might not be the best example but the Opel Insignia is a liftback car and the rear window/trunk section looks somewhat similar to this camo car. ![]() ![]() Edit: so you might have something like this where the whole "trunk door" goes with the glass

The Opel Insignia concept didn't have a rear wiper either. That can always be added on later if they design goes into production. If they did that now, it would be obvious it was a hatch. Maybe they want to keep that a secret until a later date. ![]() ![]() This is one reason I would prefer a hatch: ![]() Much easier to get spare race wheels in and out. |

Actually now that I think about it the Scion tC doesn't have a rear wiper ![]() ![]() So it is possible they skip a wiper (I hope they don't). |
