Well I just test drove a hot lava FR-S today and loved it, but hated the color. Lucky for me the dealership had an asphalt FR-S coming in within the next few days, so I bought it. These are going to be the longest few days ever being forced to still drive my pos Civic around. Oh well it will all be worth it to get the FR-S in the color that I actually wanted. It's nice to meet everyone and I hope to see you guys around.

I wanted an orange FR-S (I traded in my burnt orange Evo) but saw the Raven and took it home. Never looked back.

I wanted it in Raven but couldn't find one so I settled for Asphalt. I like them both equally so it works out for me.

With Plastidip and Vinyl covers, color matters pretty little nowadays.

Hello everyone. Im Luis and im from Chicago. I've been an FR-S owner since May of 2012. Recently i talked to a couple guys wich told me about this site. It's good to see that other owners are having the same problems as i am with the car. There is a lot of great information here. Hope to see more people at shows around the Chicagoland area.

Hello everyone, mac150 here from Atlanta. Just took delivery of an Asphalt FR-S that is my wife's new ride. She's like a little kid at Christmas! Already had a chance to read through a couple of posts about the 5 AD kit and I have some concerns--my dealer has never installed one so do I call it off? Also tried to have XM activated and was told that the receiver/antenna required for the BeSpoke radio is not available for the FR-S. Suggestions anyone? Cheers!!

Hi everyone,

I have already posted once or twice, and totally missed the introduction thread. I'm from Sweden, working as an IT specialist at one of our biggest Universities. My nick beardy is becuse I am rocking a beard since... forever.

Just traded in my JDM Evo 6 GSR for a new pearl white GT 86 and is eagerly awaiting my delivery around the 13th September. (who am I kidding, I am going nuts waiting).

Two testdrives of the GT 86 and I was sold, yes, it is not as lightning quick as the Evo, but it feels more connected and when the road starts to twist, the Toybaru just kicks ass. To help me from going insane during the wait, I am scouting around for a nice setup of new rims, a coilover kit and exhaust system.
