I thought I was the only Hot Lava in town! Guess not :P Wasn't me; I usually don't drive in the downtown area.

Has anyone else seen an exorbitant amount of Ferrari 458 Italias around recently? I've seen three different ones in the past three days...I thought they were a little more rare than that :P

Got it. No problems at the dealership -- got MSRP and didn't even try to haggle for less. They did seriously low-ball my trade-in though. They offered 2k less than what Carmax offered me less than an hour before. So I did the deal with no trade-in. Dealer was cool though. Got their porter to drive my Mazda down to Carmax while I drove the BRZ. Sold the old car to Carmax and drove the kid back to the Subaru dealer.

Yeah I saw one a few weeks ago on N Lamar, I work from home so its pretty rare that I see one when I do go out.

I think I saw the same guy twice last week on 183. Black 458 driving it like he can afford a ticket or two.

There is a Hot Lava Manual trans FR-S available at San Marcos Toyota/Scion if anyone is looking for one in that color. I already ordered a whiteout from them that is supposedly arriving in a few weeks. They required a $500 non-refundable deposit though. No biggie though as I got to reserve the car and get the color I wanted with no markup and a much shorter wait. Came with BeSpoke system though...but oh well. I can live with it.
