That sucks. We do a BBQ every couple months here company wide, no meeting, just food will be ready at XX:XX time. Last Friday was burgers, hotdogs, and potato salad. I buy my two shop guys lunch about once a month, couple weeks ago it was pizza.

I quick update from earlier post. We didn't get any Yellowtail but did get a bunch of Bluefin. Largest was 131lb gutted and gilled so maybe 150lb whole. We had another 9 or so total up to 40lbs or so. Opted just to get 50lb of filets sent home as it gets pricy. I've had it a couple of times now seared and sliced and I have to say it's pretty dam good. Tastes a bit like steak to me but maybe that's more of function of how it's prepared. Heavy salt and pepper and 30 seconds a side in a hot pan.

I do have some belly that I haven't tried as of yet. Not sure if it should be cooked or eaten raw. Might try it later this week.

Maverick gas station was having a deal. Buy 20 gallons and get a pound and a half of Hamachi (yellowtail) for half price. Money well spent. Making sushi rice now. I see some nigiri, hand rolls, and already had some sashimi.

Wanted proper greasy breakfast. Ate half of it before I took the photo lol.

Air fried the hash browns, near the end took them out and coated them in bacon fat to give them a final crisp. They look burnt but they had that perfect crunch like McDonald's ones.
