Don't think I met you today haha. I got tuned at nightshift and only remember seeing john and the people who worked there.

Sidenote so far the tune feels good. I notice a really big difference in 2nd gear. It's like a new car really. I just feel power all throughout the band up until 62mph which is crazy in second! I also notice in the higher gears it more punchy then usual.

I'm going to fill my tank up on monday put on some miles then see what I'm getting and inform all of you on here

At least my managers were cool enough to let me sneak out for about 4.5-5 hours today to get a tune!

I'll use the rest of this tank up to get the "super spirited" driving out of my system and start a new tank to monitor results and return to normal drivign behavior.

I get off work in 50 minutes or so and I will make a post when I get home.

Nice meeting you also! and yes! number 86!!

Alrighty guys - as it turns out I caught what ever my wife had last week so I'm feeling a little under the weather.

I had interesting results today.

Let me start by saying that on a DynoJet 4th gear makes 10whp more than 3rd gear!

The FRS I was working on today belongs to Prime Motoring - Thanks mike for letting me do my thing while your in Poland !

Just like the dynosheet says -

Stock Car w/ Stock Flash VS Vivid Racing V1 Header w/ Stock Flash

Looks like the header picks up great power all by itself.

Here is a surprise to me - STG1 Flash on Stock Car vs STG1 Flash w/ Vivid Racing V1 Header..

Stock car with the STG1 flash makes more power!

Finally - Vivid Racing V1 Header w/ STOCK FLASH vs Vivid Racing V1 Header w/ STG1 Flash

Discuss !

Please note I was very clear - all runs were in 4th gear.

Im disappointed that the gain from the header and the gain from the flash didn't add up together.

So now I need to find another header to test.

Then put a full exhaust on this car.

Although the flash + header might not seem worth the money right now I can say that the flash does have a lot to offer if not additional power right now.

-Higher rev limit
-More low end tq with direct injection tuning
-No longer have the crappy idle.

And when I'm finished better MPG.

In the next month you'll see me talking about EcuTek rolling out advanced RaceRom features.

-Launch Control w/ fueling & timing adjustment
-Auto Blip (yeah its cool)
-On-the-fly map switching - pumpgas / race gas - maybe a e85 option - still need to investigate this.

oh and pretty much anything else you want. ( Nice try - no hand held or real time tuning)

EcuTek listens - so if you want a feature we're not talking about - speak up and let us know.

You know what, I didn't even notice this, but I don't recall the idle dip occurring the entire drive back. It happens every morning on the way into work at the same red light, so I will pay attention to this tomorrow.

Ruskymx
If it continues to be crappy I have another idle control table I can adjust

I think there is a problem with that header because all the dynos we have seen thus far in the vivid thread show it gaining no power or even taking power away from the cat back or crossover pipe. Love seeing more torque in the dip. I have just noticed recently that my idle has gotten rough, with nothing on it sits at 600 rpm and kind of flutters you can see the gear shifter shake and you can feel it in your butt. Two people that have driven in my car have both asked me about it and I can't say I remember it happening a 1000 km ago or so. Has anyone else experienced the low Annoyying idle?

Yeah this morning I definantly noticed my idle stayed at the same range instead of dropping down like normal.
