Verus Ventus Stage 2 data or anecdotes?

Has anyone here installed the Verus Engineering Ventus kit and has any impressions or data on changes to your laptimes or handling?

Specifically I'm looking at "stage 2" as it seems to have the best ratio of drag-to-downforce for a near-stock power car.

For anyone wondering WTF I'm talking about:

Though not helpful at this time, I have the Ventus 1 + ducktail setup currently and I'll be slapping the front splitter back on in a few months (the car came with the front splitter installed but I removed it to work on driver mods), I'll report back with impressions

[WARNING] What you are about to read it just a thought. I could be way off in my thinking. Oh, who am I kidding? It's probably wondering more than thinking.
I like what Verus does, but wonder about the model used. The ride height is lower than what most people use at the track. Also, the rake is greater than what I normally see. I think both of these would exaggerate the benefits of any aero parts.

I didn't actually see where the info brochure explicitly stated ride heights for the test data (other than simulated airflow offset).

Just looking at the 3D vehicle model presented in the test flow data, I'd say that my car is as low, or slightly lower on the stock Performance Pack Sachs with suspension components from SPLParts.

I'd like to know the reasoning behind Versus not using the JDM underbody panels. Those reportedly substantially reduce drag.

Since the underbody panels aren't a USDM stock or Verus part, I'm not surprised they wouldn't include them in their design/testing. You generally don't force people to go buy something that's not your product when advertising or designing your product.

OEM anything is always a compromise between cost to manufacture, performance, longevity, and several other factors. AFAIK the underbody panels are for decreased aerodynamic drag and not much else. I'm looking for drag-efficient downforce at 70+ MPH for track use.

Running a splitter, diffuser, and gurney flap I noticed a bit more stability on high speed corners, but that was it. It was only really noticeable on a couple corners per track I hit up so it's not a significant improvement in lap time for the amount of money you are spending. It really helped me be more consistent if anything.

Also keep in mind underbody panels between the axle centerlines are generally banned in all classes except the most extreme if you ever plan on doing some TT/TA events for most organizations. May not apply to you but just something to keep in mind if you ever get that wild hair.

Edit: I also consider a splitter a bit overkill till you go to a wing. I think the main reason Verus lists it in that package is it does help underbody efficiency.

Decreased aerodynamic drag under the car reduces lift. From what I've read, the faster a fluid (air) is moving, the less pressure (lift) it has.
