Dandelions are pretty in bloom, good for the bees and butterflies, and the greens are delicious.
Grass as a lawn is a weed any way you look at it. Useless, miserable, water intensive, far too much work. It's a flex.

I put a sign on my lawn that says "World Famous Dandelion Farm". It makes people want to take one home. By June 1st my lawn is weed free.

TIL that there is a type of person that doesn't pull over for emergency vehicles until they have held up said vehicle even though there's a nice big emergency lane on a mostly empty road.
