No dealer I've ever spoken to has had any idea about anything ever. For the longest time, dealers thought these cars had awd and turbos.

most toyota dealers really do not care about this car at all as it is mostly "fussy" customers (i mean we are all compared to Rav4 and Crosstrek buyers, for the most part) and they only get 1-2 a year. Its just a free allocation, move it and forget it. Its lower margin than other cars as well so no reason to fight for allocations

They don't know fuck all about Rav4s or Crosstreks either.

It'd be weird for them to distract from the GR Corolla announcement though. They've been doing the stupid teases for so long now and then when it's finally revealed - "Oh, and this too!"

I was at a Toyota dealership yesterday looking at allocations with the sales person and I thought I saw a special edition on the screen and it started with an H I just had a real quick glance when we were looking at allocations.

I may have been mistaken and saw a Hakone edition which was the old one, not sure.
