3 was the peak horizon for me.
Mainly cause I was able to use mixer to make my own radio station.
4 Didn't have anything really new over 3 but seasons.

I already beat the story for 5 btw...
Technically once you "unlock" all the checkboxes and get in the hall of fame that's it.
All roads found, all stunt jumps done, all signs found, all barn finds found and all houses bought. Maybe a full 24hrs of playing.

Well shit. I have to admit I've heard the same thoughts on other review websites. That it is basically FH4 with vehicle DLCs and different location.

I might stick to FH4 and grab 5 when its $10 on Steam.

I really want to try Asseto Corsa, I've heard it can be very fun with mods.

What made you go back to playing it after your first session? Checking the boxes? I don’t know if it’s just me but the driving isn’t that entertaining.

Getting cars ready for the racing series my freinds and I do in theses games.

Build certain cars to very specific specs and race them.
Got some hill climb beasts going.
Freeway racers
Touge stuff.

Never bought these games to play by myself, always to race with friends.

That said if someone only bought it to race with themselves and beat the campaign.
This game sucks in that department.

edit: Forgot to mention for anyone that cares, they added rear wheel steering for the cars that have that.

If we thought that Intel's release would facilitate the availability and cost of AMD CPUs, we were wrong.
From Tom's Hardware https://www.tomshardware.com/news/cr...-big-l3-caches
"According to a recent report from Bitcoin Press, the new Raptoreum (RTM) crypto has the potential to create a shortage of AMD Ryzen processors if enough cryptocurrency miners jump on the bandwagon.
AMD's Zen 3 mainstream processors, such as the Ryzen 9 5950X and Ryzen 9 5900X, feature up to 64MB of L3 cache. Based on information from the Raptoreum Mining Profitability Calculator, the Ryzen 9 5950X and Ryzen 9 5900X offer up to 4,247 h/s and 3,557 h/s, respectively. The first could net you 205 Raptoreum a day, while the latter delivers up to 172. At $0.0220255 per Raptoreum and utilizing an energy cost of $0.12/kWh, a Ryzen 9 5950X makes around $4.16 a day, while a Ryzen 9 5900X puts in a respectable $3.43. That means the Ryzen 9 5950X ($739) practically pays for itself in 178 days and the Ryzen 9 5900X ($524) in about 153 days. While the Ryzen 9 5950X delivers a higher hashrate, the Ryzen 9 5900X takes less time to break even. "

The great thing about Microcenter is that they are mostly a In-Store Only when it comes to hot items.

I'm waiting for AMD to decrease their prices tomorrow when they have the next GPU / CPU drop. Other than that my only In-Store opportunity is my local Best Buy.

I've seen really good deals from Microcenter, alas, none are anywhere near me

I don't get Ghost Recon Motherland. Besides a couple of additions (extend skill level to 99, active camo suit) it's still the same game. I still like the world, I think it an amazing open world but it's still just more of the same. I guess I was wishing for something more even though I have no idea what that "more" might be.

Where as Days Gone is really, really well done. My kind of game: open world, lots of sneaking about, slow, methodical picking off enemies. The zombie hoards are scary, unbeatable, avoid at all costs. The portrayal of survivalists fits my idea of what a survivalist might be. Yeah, I'm enjoying this.

For Ghost Recon it's supposed to be tying together Future Soldier and Breakpoint with the factions. But yeah, overall, it's literally just reskins. While I like certain aspects of the game, it's just the same old. Though it reminds me of Wildlands when it comes to conquering territories.

Figured it out. For whateber reason, it capped my FPS to 75 and the resolution was only at 1080p.

Starfield release date is tentatively November '22. If I start saving now I might be able to get a new graphics card by then. That's if they're actually available to purchase.

So that means TES6 late 2025 at the earliest? Damn. If it’s 2026 that means the same time between Skyrim and 6 as between Daggerfall and Skyrim! They’re missing 2 whole games in that timeline!

Gave in and got GTA: The Definitive Edition.

Started playing GTA; San Andreas. Which is the best out of the 3 in terms of improvements. Takes a little to get used to with the new controls such as radio station and weapon wheel. But it looks very neat. You can still tell is an old game, but San Andreas aged very well.

Later today is time for Battlefield.
