I played heat for an hour or so because it was on game pass. It reminded me of carbon, but only the bad parts of carbon.

Wait... Weren't you just saying you enjoyed NFS Carbon? And now you are saying that you don't like Forza because it's too cartoon-ish!?!? WTF?

Because it is an older game, so I accept the lack of realism from it, and it is enjoyable because of the intensity of canyon racing plus just childhood memories. Then you have Need for Speed 2015, which had stunning graphics, just lacked some driving modifications. Forza Horizon 5 has a great selection of vehicles, and so did Need for Speed Heat, but there was almost a feeling of cartoon-ish in the way the vehicles look. Like there was more focus used on the environment, than the way the vehicles looked. Like they added an Instagram filter to it.

Last NFS I played and liked was Most Wanted. I found Carbon to be just not good.

Same here, I haven't really played it at all I've done maybe 2 hours of playtime.

There will never be a game as great as Most Wanted.

i enjoy lego island the most(mostly for a lack of mud and off-road), but the touge in fortune island on the mountain is very worthwhile.

i'm still holding out hope that the japan map is still coming as an add-on...

I've noticed this with Forza Horizon as well. Grid does a better job at a work track than when Forza. And Grid is more arcade racer than SIM.

Speaking of Prime Day, The SAMSUNG 980 PRO 1TB PCIe NVMe Gen4 Internal Gaming SSD M.2 (MZ-V8P1T0B) is now on sale. It's rated the best according to Toms Hardware. If you're looking to upgrade your SSD.

The new Sea of Thieves X Disney PotC collab is pretty fun! Initial footage of them smashing Jack Sparrow and crew into the SoT world looked questionable but they did a really good job putting together a new adventure in game.

I have one of these as my primary SSD for my OS to boot and it's quick!

Watching the Windows 11 launch event. The product manager doing the presentation comes off like William Shatner doing a sad puppy impersonation.

Should've probably upgraded to that one, but I have yet found an issue with the XPG Pro. I am running out of space though.
