Yeah we already know the specs, but i just want to know availabilty and price and available specs/options (base + GT?). So that i know when i can go take a look at this thing.

Definitely not the golf cart I used to drive for my university job. It maxed out at 25mph, but occasionally 26 or 27mph with a good tailwind.

They want all that and it better not have gone up in price by $1. They have made back their investment so they should almost give them away by now.

If the price point was 40k they could've given us everything. Then we'd complain about the price.

If they'd listened to me we'd be getting the Spartan edition. No stereo, cruise control, wind up windows, or carpets, fire extinguisher mounted where the cup holder is. And it would be cheaper.

The funny thing is, I'd be willing to pay that, but you know the internet would be up in arms about Porsche this, or Mustang that. And it would never end.

The whole idea of the 86 was to have an inexpensive sports car in their line up. If it creeps up in price then they have moved backwards in their goals.
Would there still be value for the money? Probably if they indeed gave all the things people claim they want.
Would some people pay it? Certainly some but all of a sudden the car would be out of reach for a whole segment of the target demographics and not as desirable for others.
And before everybody just says "Wait for used ones" we have to remember there need to be buyers for new ones for there to be used available.
As said there is already the Supra to fit the higher level niche and it checks almost all the boxes for what people say they want out of the 86.

I would hope they wouldn't brag about a 6 second zero to sixty from a sports car.

Considering how excruciatingly, painfully slow the first gen is, this is an improvement.....
Minivans can hopefully be beaten!!
