Ugh, except at the end of that 3 day weekend I have to start my new job lol. I've been funemployed for half a year and it's f***ing awesome. Can't waste as much time looking at raw hex dumps from ECUs and fixing old cars lol.

Oh hey, the clutch I ordered back in January for service that was scheduled for March finally showed up on May 27. At least I have it for when I finally kill the stock clutch.

Day three driving the work Ram truck due to some home renovation projects.
God it sucks. How the hell do people think these things are a suitable daily driver? Most impractical vehicle there ever was.

I on the other hand, have been enjoying driving my truck. It has AC, it's quiet, I don't have to watch approach and departures, it rides smooth. Oh and the fucking bluetooth connects when I want it too.

It must be a "work" truck. One of the guys here just got a 2021 Silverado Z71 Trail Boss. Even with offroad tires it rides like a Cadillac and there is near zero noise on the inside. The interior is more comfortable than my family room, and about the same size.

See for me that would be way more practical!
People always jump to volume passenger and hauling capacity when they define "practical" when the reality is more based on actual usage. For me when I am by myself 99% of the time, I rarely need to haul big items and all in all just do not need space the truck is not practical at all. Finding parking spots is a bitch, I need twice the space to merge with traffic or change lanes, maneuvering in tight spots is entertaining and I am paying twice as much for fuel to move a big heavy empty vehicle around. That is NOT practical by any definition. Hell, for me my Geo Metro was the most practical thing I could own.

It is a mid level Ram 1500. It has the Hemi but very little else in the way of luxury items. It does however ride like a Cadillac and is silent inside. I hate a Cadillac ride and silence when driving.

I think height and footprint definitely can make a vehicle impractical. Height makes it more difficult to judge relative distance to objects like poles when parking (I might be saying that because I bumped the corner of an SUV into a pillar while parking one time :/). That said, as a sports car enthusiast that likes low sleek cars, I have to admit that a little bit of extra ground clearance and a rear hatch that can swallow big objects are both extremely useful.
