Haha no. So yesterday's mod, it took bout a hour. Had about 8~9 bolts I had to taken off. It took extra 10~15mins out of total work on my car. Didn't feel like it was an extra work. Also my wife did most of em, she was very entertained.
I do some adventures... just don't wanna spent extra money buying replacement bolts, if I don't have to. |

![]() I'd like to ask mrs ichi "were YOU entertained by chasing threads on bolts and nuts"? I can just see how that would go down at my home. mrs humfrz, would get off your comfortable, warm couch and come out here in the cold, damp garage and help me? She slowly responds by opening the garage door and asking me what I need help doing. I say, would you chase the threads on these bolts and nuts. She would ask, did you cross thread them when you tried to put them back on? I would say no. I would say, I just want to make sure the threads are clear. She would say, what makes you think they are NOT clear? How in the hell could you have cross threaded them TAKING THEM OFF?! I don't have an answer. She slams the door into the garage as she mumbles something like "old man, why don't you just go take a nap"! ichitaka05, you are a lucky guy having such a nice wife to help you out - |

Also Mrs ichi said "it's actually fun!" Yes, I'm lucky guy... but keep in mind. She wasn't a car-geek til she start date me. You gotta show the dark side slowly and something that interest em. That's the key lol |

Harbor freight set can be sketch with their tolerances and finish. I still have that same set for imperial stuff. I sprung for the good metric ones back fifteen years ago. No contest.

Yeah, def quality isn’t the best... but for now, it’s good enough. Down the road, I’ll buy better one.
