I think this is a detailers work area. The lights are setup for paint correction. Otherwise it makes little sense as a typical garage space.

I used to do that on my totally modded Ninja as a stupid kid, but my stupid and biking days are over.

That should win for both race car owner & daily owner w Type-1 & Type-2 braces.

But that’s just an idea.

For Type-1 or Type-2? I see your point, but for daily owner, half Cage is way too much.

Type 1.

Type 2 is reasonable to me. You can still get a set of tires in the back of the car. That’s the biggest issue I see with guys who have a car that is mostly track oriented and have a half cage.

I have a light like that but 4 AA cells. Very bright but more of a spot light than a work light. (a Christmas gift) I put it on the floor when I have a car up on the lift. Even then the shadows are severe. I have an other with about a foot and a half matrix that is much easier to use. (Ridgid)
