This reminds me of my mom trying something similar when I was a kid, like giving me a chore if I said I was bored. I'm already bored, and doing more work is not going to make that any better.

Same here. My usual partner in crime took the day off. Boss is not coming in for the day(he usually doesn't get here till 1 or 2pm anyway), and the projects I am working on are mostly done and don't even need to be done for weeks. Think I might run to target for a nerf gun to shoot at the warehouse people.

One day a few years ago, someone at work gave out a bunch of mini Nerf guns on the condition they be used to shoot me at least once. Fun times...

We used to have regular all out battles here, my last nerf gun just broke though so I need a new one. Inventory was like Christmas because we would find around 100+ nerf darts all over.

Oh that's what it evolved into rather quickly. After 5:30pm, anything goes lol. Then it became an arms race, of course. The most terrifying was a 4-foot long pvc blowgun.

I'm home all the time! There isn't much chance that I'll find a new job now that I'm over age. I limit my on-line time as to not upset SWMBO. I'm a video game Beta tester and have a standing one hour test each afternoon. After that I'll be supervising the crew that's destroying my back yard putting in the new, above ground, septic system.
