It's getting a bit whiny with the stiffer mounts I'm installing. I'm totally cool with it. I actually like hearing the diff.

In the middle of my drive. 900 miles over two days, first day about 650.

I’ve done some 700 milers before.

Quality of the pavements makes a difference.

First drive with the Michelin Pilot Sport as3+ And they are somewhat more forgiving than the Primacy tires.

But they handle a little softer too, kinda like the old man’s Buick.

I have made the 800 mile trip between Los Angeles and El Paso three times in the 5 months I have owned my 2014 FR-S. The first time was on the original Primacys, which were old, hard and VERY noisy. Second trip was on the new Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 - quieter, but no longer handling as if it were on rails. The periodic humming noise at 75-82 did not go away. Made the third trip last week just after replacing both front wheel bearings. YEAHHH!!! the humming noise is gone.

Senior with sciatic back pain issues and I am pleased with the seats. MPG has dropped 4 MPG - tires plus hotter ambient working AC harder.

Nah I'll usually mix it up and often end up finishing with an interstate run home just to get it done. That and I don't drive like my dad on back roads so tend to get to places more quickly than most other people would

I also don't stop unless I must, gas/coffee/food/piss stops are combined into one as often as possible and I eat on the go. One of the things that makes the BRZ a near perfect car for the way I travel is I can roll at whatever speed I want, on just about any road, for as long as I want to and it seems to need gas right about the time I need to pee and get more coffee. Well, that and the great seat that lets me sit for 4-5 hours at a time

I barely broke mine in before putting 1200km round trip to Toronto and back with my GF.
Far from a luxury car, but not as bad as cheap old cars with worn seals.

The first 5k went real fast

Took the longest trip so far today and watched the mpg climb from all city driven 23 mpg to scarcely believable (to me at least) 34 mpg.
