I had breakfast with my contractor Sunday. Master bath came in way over budget. We found surprises behind every wall. 16 feet of rotten stucco, pipes coming up thru the floor, not in the wall where they should be. I had 2 electricians here for 3 full days fixing the nightmare wiring. They were amazed the house didn't burn down. Oh well, looks real nice now.
Got the final plans and numbers for the kitchen. Demo should start in a few weeks. That should be real fun. I could buy 4 new twins with what this remodel is costing. Ouch. |
